Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé presided over Tuesday in Blitta – the central region, the launching ceremony of the second phase of the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed photovoltaic power plant.

Resulting from a public-private partnership (PPP) and built by AMEA, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi group, this project with an initial capacity of 50 MW will be increased to a capacity of 70 MW.

This means an additional capacity of 20 MW.
