Togo has officially concluded the revision of its electoral roll in Zone 1, covering the Maritime region and Haho prefecture.

Originally set for April 7–9, the process was extended by a day following pressure from opposition parties and civil society groups.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) says the extension aimed to ensure wider participation.

The revision exercise is a key step ahead of the country’s upcoming elections.
