The Government of the Gambia has issued a strong warning on the consequences of violating Covid-19 emergency regulations to intended travellers to the holy city of Touba in Senegal to attend the annual pilgrimage.
The warning came as thousands of Gambians and Senegalese residing in the Gambia prepare to attend the religious ceremony despite the border with Senegal being shut due to Covid-19.
