Two presidential aspirants in The Gambia, vow to challenge the Independent Electoral Commission IEC, after their nominations for the top job was rejected ahead of the December 4 polls.
Former Special Advisor to President Adama Barrow Mai Ahmed Fatty and former University of the Gambia Lecturer Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, say they will appeal the decision of the electoral commission at the courts.
Meanwhile the incumbent, Adama Barrow and opposition leader Lawyer Ousainou Darboe’s nominations have been successfully accepted by the IEC.
