President Adama Barrow of The Gambia presided over the swearing-in ceremony of the new Vice President Muhammed Jallow at State House on Tuesday.

The Gambian leader appointed Jallow in February following the death of former Vice President Badara Alieu Joof.

As our Banjul correspondent Sankulleh Janko reports, Barrow has tasked the new number two to continue diligently serving the nation.
