Niger suffered a deadly terrorist attack in the southwest of the country on Thursday.
The attack according to the Nigerien Ministry of Defence occurred in Kandadji along the Tri-border area resulting in the death of at least 7 soldiers. Five others died in an accident while driving to reinforce the unit that had come under attack, according to the Defence statement.
