Six weeks after he was reinstated in a controversial deal with the military, Sudan's Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, has announced his resignation. 

In a nationwide broadcast where he announced his resignation on Sunday, Mr. Hamdok said Sudan was now at a "dangerous turning point".
