Citizens in riverine areas are expressing their frustration as Cameroon prepares to release water from its Lagdo Dam.
They are panicking over the lack of government intervention to help them evacuate to safer grounds due to the expected water flow from Lagdo, one of the largest in Central Africa.
The National Emergency Management Agency has identified several states in Nigeria as being at high risk for flooding whenever the dam is opened.
From Abuja, WADR’s Usman Umar reports.
