Dozens of aggrieved residents of the affected communities within the employ of an iron ore company—Western Cluster have started a series of protests, demanding the company to live up to its corporate social responsibilities as outlined in the Mineral Development Agreement.
The Company explores and mines iron ore deposits in Western Liberia in line with its Mineral Development Agreement with the Liberian authority valued over 100 million United States dollars.
