Sierra Leoneans are celebrating after the government lifted a night-time curfew which was instituted as part of the suppression measures of COVID-19.
The National Covid-19 Emergency Response Center announced on Monday evening that the curfew is only lifted for a period of four (4) weeks.
The suspension of the curfew comes after two weeks of a sustained social media campaign by especially entertainers and night related business people who say the curfew was harming their source of livelihood and wanted it lifted.
