The Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs (MoPAPA) in Sierra Leone has initiated an assessment drive targeting Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). The drive, launched at the Foreign Service Academy in Freetown, aims to validate the Individual Performance Appraisal System (IPAS) and assess the performance of key public institutions.
During the event, Minister Amara Kallon highlighted the significance of the newly developed Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework. He stressed its role in addressing recommendations to enhance public sector performance, urging Human Resource Officers to prioritize the framework’s recommendations to tackle challenges and improve service delivery.
This initiative marks a pivotal moment in Sierra Leone’s public sector reforms, focusing on building institutional capacity, ensuring accountability, and improving service delivery across MDAs.
