Dissatisfied members of the Sierra Leone Medical and Dental Association (MDA) have announced announced plans to initiate a sit-down strike this Wednesday if the Ministry of Health does not provide their long-awaited fuel allowance.

This announcement came during a press conference held at the Connaught Hospital in Freetown on Monday, October 21, 2024.
