Sierra Leone’s opposition the All-Peoples Congress APC party says it closely monitoring the unfolding development involving its leader Ernest Bai Koroma.

Summoned last week Thursday to answer questions regarding the November failed coup, the opposition leader Koroma now faces a separate accusation which relates to corruption during his time as a minister.

The All-Peoples Congress APC chairperson Dr Samura Kamara has also been ordered to surrender to the Anti-corruption Commission for similar accusations.

The opposition insists that all party executives so far arrested and detained in connection with the November 26 incident and other related crimes be given a fair trial.
