This Tuesday in Senegal is a “no press” day.
The aim of this day, initiated by the Council of Press Distributors and Publishers, CEDEPS, is above all to denounce the current challenges facing certain media outlets.
These include the seizure of production equipment, the freezing of payments and the blocking of bank accounts, a situation that has led some media outlets to suspend operations.
CEDEPS calls on the government to engage in dialogue.
