The newly inaugurated President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has appointed his Prime Minister barely 24 hours after assuming duties.
The PASTEF party leader Ousmane Sonko was in a broadcast late Tuesday at the Presidential palace, declared the Senegalese Coordinating Minister.
Until Sonko’s appointment, speculations were rife that the mayor of Zuiguinchor would indeed occupy the position in Diomaye Faye’s government.
