APR activist Bah Diakhate has been released from custody on Wednesday, after his face-to-face meeting with prosecutors.

However, he is expected to appear in court today, Thursday, at the Dakar courthouse.

Bah Diakhate is being prosecuted for allegedly spreading false news and offenses against the Prime Minister, who was exercising all or part of the prerogatives of the President of the Republic.

The former ruling party, APR has reacted and demanded the release of its activist.
