World Kidney Day was celebrated yesterday, Thursday 14 March 2024, under the theme “Kidney health for all: promoting equitable access to care and optimal use of medicines”.

Senegal took the opportunity to increase the budget allocated to dialysis. It has now been increased from one to five billion CFA francs.

Meanwhile, researchers are warning about the development of the disease on the continent.
