Senegalese doctors say the risk of blood clotting linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine is low and have therefore, recommended that it continue to be used for the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in the country.
While in Europe, some persons who have been injected with the vaccine developed by a Swedish-British laboratory have developed blood clotting problems which medical sources say may lead to cardiac arrest or pulmonary embolism, no such case has been reported on the continent.
