Senegal have been crowned champions of Africa for the first time after winning the Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021 in a penalty shootout on Sunday at the Olembe Stadium in Younde.
Sadio Mane missed a penalty just 4 minutes into the first after wing-back Ciss was brought down in the area.
The match was decided on penalty kicks after 120 minutes of regulation and extra-time.
Mane was brave enough to step up again and score the winner for the Teranga Lions as they won 4-2 on penalties.
