The rectification process of sponsorships for candidates in Senegal proceeding to the second round resumes today. These candidates were given a two-day window to update and rectify their documentation.

In a bid for validation, candidates approached the Constitutional Council yesterday, seeking regularization of all previously invalidated sponsorships.

Out of the 93 applications received by the constitutional council, at least only 10 validated their sponsorship in the first round.
