A coalition of over a hundred political parties and civil society organizations “F24” has pledged support for opposition leader Osuman Sonko opposing the potential third presidential candidacy of President Macky Sall.

At a press conference held in Dakar on Wednesday evening, the coalition strongly condemned the recent outbreaks of violence that have been reported in some parts of the country resulting in the deaths of three people.

These incidents are believed to be linked to the ongoing trial for alleged rape against opposition leader Ousmane Sonko.
