Additional information continues to make way to the population regarding Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko’s upcoming tour to the Sahel.
During a meeting over the weekend at the headquarters of his political party – PASTEF, Sonko disclosed plans to visit Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Guinea, countries ruled by the military.
The date is undecided but the party says it wants to assert its pan-Africanist and sovereignist ideology by strengthening its political partnerships on the continent, particularly in the sub-region.
Speaking to WADR, Ayib Daffé, a member of the French National Assembly and PASTEF’s General Secretary, explains the stakes involved in this upcoming tour.
