The Constitutional Council’s sponsorship control committee in Senegal dismissed the file of opposition candidate Ousmane Sonko.

The representatives of the various contenders for the presidential chair have been appearing before the Constitutional Council since Saturday.

So far, 9 candidates have made it through the first round.

As Oge Obierika reports, majority of the aspirants have to complete their sponsorship files to be included on the list of candidates.
