In anticipation of the Summit for a New Global Financial Pact with a specific focus on Africa, One Campaign has highlighted the significance and expectations from the high-level meeting.

The summit has the primary objective of addressing the multifaceted challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and climate change in Africa.

One Campaign Africa at a conference in Dakar – the Senegalese capital echoed that, these factors continue to exert pressure on the fiscal and budgetary capacities of several African countries, as well as hindering their ability to provide essential social services.

As Tofik AbdulNasir reports, the summit is scheduled to take place in Paris, France from June 22 to June 23, 2023.
