Senegal on Wednesday joined the era of DAB+ digital Audio broadcasting through a pilot project which was launched in Dakar – the capital city.
DAB+ or Digital Audio Broadcasting is an upgraded version of the transmission technology that enables more radio stations to broadcast from within the same server.
At the project presentation ceremony, the Senegalese Regulation Authority of Telecommunication and Posts announced the distribution of receptor samples to some broadcast testers.
