Senegal’s ad-hoc committee has concluded its work on MP Mouhamadou Ngom, also known as Farba Ngom, regarding the potential lifting of his parliamentary immunity.
The Ministry of Justice’s request, linked to money laundering allegations, has sparked controversy. Aissata Tall Sall, president of the Takku Wallu Sénégal parliamentary group and Farba Ngom’s representative, stated that the charges remain unclear.
The case, involving several high-profile individuals, will reach a decisive point during an upcoming plenary session.
