An urgent appeal for calm and restraint in Senegal has been made by the ECOWAS parliamentary diplomacy mission.
The mission calls on all political actors to refrain from employing any discourse that could potentially incite violence or escalate tension in the country.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the parliamentary diplomacy mission urges all stakeholders to prioritize the fundamental interests of the Senegalese nation, emphasizing peace, stability, adherence to the Constitution, the promotion of democracy, the rule of law, and social cohesion.
