The Civil Forum is responding to President Macky Sall’s announcement of an amnesty bill during the national dialogue.
The proposed law, aimed at pacifying the political landscape, is set to be presented to the National Assembly this week.
It will encompass incidents related to the fatal political demonstrations of 2021 and June 2024.
The Civil Forum is urging the authorities stressing that true reconciliation can only be achieved through justice and truth.
