The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is now operational in Dakar, the Senegalese capital.
President Macky Sall launched this innovative transportation system on Sunday.
The project, which cost 419 billion CFA francs, with 69% provided by the Senegalese government and 31% from its economic and financial partners, aims to improve urban mobility in the region.
