President Bassirou Diomaye Faye is meeting his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame at the Presidential Palace, today.
The Rwandan President arrived in the country since yesterday Saturday, for a 48 hour working visit.
According to the Senegalese presidency, the two heads of state are having a face to face discussion in various areas within the framework of bilateral cooperation.
Both leaders will later have a private launch together.
Presidents Diomaye Faye and Paul Kagame will then travel to the Dakar Aréna, the Diamniadio sports hall, to attend the last day of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
They will notably follow the meetings which will pit Rivers Hoppers from Nigeria against Us Monastir from Tunisia, and As Douanes from Senegal against the Rwandan Patriotic Army team.
The qualification of each team for Final 8, which is to be played in Kigali, Rwanda, will depend on the results of these two meetings.
In April this year, the Rwandan Prime Minister, Dr. Edouard (Jeeliyen) Ngirente, represented President Kagame in the swearing-in ceremony of Diomaye, who had just been elected to lead Senegal.
