Kenyan professor of Public law—Patrick Lumumba says unless Liberia can take a giant step forward to prosecute perpetrators of the 14 years of civil war that left more than 250, 000 people dead, the country will continue to remain behind among its counterparts.
He believes ending the culture of impunity is essential for fostering lasting peace and promoting national reconciliation.
