Liberian President George Weah expresses disappointment in the conduct of some Liberians to engage in violence ahead of today’s December 8 midterm senate election and a constitutional referendum.
Eight propositions such as reduction in the tenures of the President and elected officials, dual citizenship, change in the election date among others are contained in the referendum.
In a special address to the nation Monday night, Weah said he has instructed state securities to institute appropriate measures to ensure stability in the country during and after the electoral process.
