President of the ECOWAS Commission Dr Alieu Omar Touray applauds Liberians for the peaceful elections and the ongoing arrangement of transfer of power between President George Weah and the incoming President Joseph Boakai.

Speaking in Nigeria during the opening of the bloc’s 64th Summit on Thursday, Touray said the elections in Liberia further indicate the possibility of a civilian power shift contrary to military means.
