In the Gambia, police used tear gas to disperse crowds of supporters of leading opposition United Democratic Party UDP at the residence of opposition leader Lawyer Ousainou Darboe.
In another development, the Independent Candidate Essa Mbaye Faal who had initially rejected the results has made a U- turn to accept the results after acknowledging that they do not have sufficient prove to back their claim of voting irregularities.
Leader of People's Democratic Organization for Independence and Socialism PDOIS Halifa Sallah meanwhile said the Gambian people have decided and that his doors are open for the Barrow government for pieces of advice.
