International polling and market research firm, IFOP poll has revealed that over 50% of French people are against the country's military operations in Mali. 

This marks the first time such a response has been recorded since the start of operations in 2014. 

The poll conducted between January 5 and January 6, 2021 by a self-administered online questionnaire comes weeks after several French soldiers were killed in Mali.
