Against the backdrop of Thursday’s violence in the country, the Senegalese Minister of Justice Ismaïla Madior told reporters that opposition leader Ousmane Sonko can be arrested at any moment.

Despite being sentenced in absentia, Madior insists that Sonko’s sentence must be carried out.
