Former President Mohamed Bazoum was questioned Wednesday at his home by a team of three gendarmes composed of a major, a captain and a warrant officer, as part of a preliminary investigation.
This hearing follows the lifting of his immunity by the State Court, thus paving the way for a trial for high treason.
The former Nigerien president was questioned in the presence of his lawyer, the president of the Bar, Moussa Coulibaly.
