In Niger, lawyers of deposed president Mouhamed Bazoum are calling on the State Court not to issue its ruling on May 10.

While the court is due to rule in about ten days on whether to lift Bazoum’s immunity in order to try him for “high treason”, his defence is calling for prior consultations to better prepare.
