Nigerien Prime Minister Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine has called on rebel groups to lay down their arms.
Lamine Zeine made the call during a meeting between General Abdurahmane Tiani and Nigeriens engaged alongside the army.
Faced with rising armed attacks by terrorist affiliates in the country, the PM is calling for peace.
