The Super Falcons of Nigeria are through to the next phase of the 2022 African Women’s Championship qualifiers.
The Nine time African Champions suffered a 1-0 defeat against the Queens of Ghana in the final leg of the qualifiers, but it wasn’t enough to stop them from booking their place in the competition.
Recall the Super Falcons won the first leg 2-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena last Wednesday.
Princella Adubea got Ghana’s goal midway into the second half, but the Falcons advanced 2-1 on aggregate.
The Falcons will now take on Lady Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire, in February 2022 for the final round of the qualifiers.
The winner will qualify for the Championship billed for Morocco.
