The Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) says leadership has been the major problem of Nigeria.
In a statement on Thursday, in commemoration of Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary, the organization said despite the myriad of challenges, citizens have hobbled the realization of the country’s lofty potential.
It noted that the Nigeria of the dream is possible, notwithstanding the problems.
The organization expressed optimism that the diversity of Nigeria can be built on to become a source of strength, despite fears that multi-ethnicity is the source of unending sectarian conflicts and instability.
WADR spoke with Nnenna Ibeh, Senior communications officer of CDD.
