Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed to bring an end to the numerous security challenges bedeviling the country.
President Buhari made this assertion Thursday at the presidential Villa in Abuja – the nation’s capital, after the Eid Fitr congregational prayer to mark the end of the Holy month of Ramadan.
The head of state most importantly stressed the need for food security nationwide as among his administration’s determination in eliminating bandits and insurgents.
Buhari stated that it is only when people are able to return to their farms, will there be food security, noting that the rainy season is fast approaching,
He also spoke on the military’s ongoing campaign and the working relationship between the executive and the legislature.
