Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police is being accused of disobedience to a court order in a case involving a Cameroonian citizen who has been in police detention for over 400 days.
The detainee, Agborsangaya Eyong was arrested in 2021 in Cross Rivers State, a border state between Nigeria and Cameroon after some rounds of ammunition were allegedly found during a search of his residence.
WADRs Abuja correspondent Usman Umar reports that The suspect has been detained without access to bail ever since.
