Thirteen days after Nigeria’s supreme court ordered the Central Bank to revert to using the old 200, 500, and 1000 Naira notes as legal tender till 31 December 2023, Nigerians are still groaning in pain over the refusal by oil companies to receive them. 

In this report, our correspondent in Abuja, Usman Umar tells us that even the government-owned fuel stations are turning back those who come to purchase fuel with the old notes.
