The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has named the popular Nigerian singer and song writer – Yemi Alade as a goodwill ambassador.
Even though the appointment was Midweek, Alade took to the social media on Thursday to pledge her support in partnering with the UN agency to end poverty and erase all forms of gender inequalities.
In her message, she promised to focus on the 4 billion women suffering from the social-economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
