Pupils took to the streets in Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria, to express their dissatisfaction with attempts by certain civil society organizations (CSOs) to influence lawmakers into passing a pro-LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) bill in the state.
Carrying placards that conveyed messages of disapproval, the young protesters urged individuals and societies to unite against the push for such legislation.
