As Nigeria’s electoral umpire, prepares to conduct off-cycle elections in three States namely, Imo in the South East, Kogi in the North Central, and Bayelsa in the South-South region, police authorities are warning politicians and other stakeholders against any act capable of disturbing the peace of the public.
Addressing newsmen shortly after a joint security meeting to review preparations for the polls, the Commissioner of Police in Imo State, Mohammed Barde, the security agencies are equal to the task of ensuring peaceful polls.
