The Nigerian military authorities have announced the release of 230 individuals suspected of having ties to Boko Haram, comprising 219 males and 11 females, following a thorough profiling process.

A local media report, citing military sources, states that these individuals were found not to be terrorists but rather victims of forced recruitment.
