Nigerian lawmakers are investigating allegations of misconduct by British government officials and their investigative agencies, including the National Crime Agency (NCA) and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
The investigation follows claims that the agencies showed contempt for Nigeria’s judicial sovereignty and disregarded court judgments clearing businessman Benedict Peters and his company Aiteo of wrongdoing.
Aiteo is one of Nigeria’s leading oil and gas companies.
