Nigerian govt allocates $19 million to boost healthcare provision

The Nigerian government has authorized the allocation of 25 billion Naira or 19 million US Dollars to the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency and the National Health Insurance Authority aimed at strengthening healthcare services nationwide.

Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, confirmed this decision and stressed the government’s commitment to transforming the healthcare sector and achieving Universal Healthcare Coverage for all Nigerians.
